DJ Kiss

DJ and personality, JaKissa Taylor-Semple, is better known to fans as DJ KISS. Known for her love of fashion and beauty as much as she is for her undeniable musical talent, Kiss has been recognized as an influencer by top fashion outlets like Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and The New York Times Style Section. DJ Kiss’ personality, skill, and extensive musical knowledge have made her one of the most in demand DJs in the country.

Kiss regularly performs at high-profile fashion, music, corporate, art, and charity events around the country. She’s spun her signature mix of soulful, feel-good tunes for a diverse list of clients including Beats by Dre, Samsung, MTV, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard Magazine, Urban Decay, David Yurman, BCBG / Herve Ledger, Coach, US Weekly, The New York Knicks, Nike, and the NFL. A fixture on the international nightlife scene, Kiss has headlined at some of the world’s hottest nightclubs in cities including Paris, Milan, London, Athens, St. Tropez, Istanbul, Barcelona, Mexico City, Zurich, and Bucharest. DJ Kiss recently toured with Oprah Winfrey as the resident DJ on her ground-breaking 8-city “The Life You Want” Tour. She has also toured with Pharrell Williams and frequently deejays for other A-list celebrities, including Prince, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Matt Damon, George Lucas, and Chelsea Clinton.

DJ Kiss is frequently tapped by media outlets for her unique perspective on music, fashion, and pop culture. She appears on Good Morning America’s DJ Friday segment regularly and was the resident DJ and new music guru on MTV’s pop culture countdown, “The Seven”, where she had her own weekly segment. She has also appeared as a panelist on pop culture shows for VH1 and Fuse and has covered the red carpet as a correspondent at events around the country.

Kiss has modeled in campaigns and in look books for brands such as Gucci, NARS, Nordstrom’s, Farfetch, Dannijo, Aritzia, and the NFL Women’s Apparel line.
